3 French Hens

Post Type

3 days down, 9 to go! 13.4 miles down, 46.6 to go!

I should be happy that I’m now down to single figure days but there’s part of me that now doesn’t want this challenge to end. Todays run was at Saltwell Park as they have Hens in Pets Corner. I’m absolutely delighted to say, what a turn out we had! There were 6 of us in total and I enjoyed every stride.

The photo above (taken by a passerby) contains 4 people who I met through Twitter and Martin. Paul and Ross are already mentioned on my blog and I’ve met before, but it was great to finally meet Mick and Val. We all seemed to enjoy the run and we had great conversation. I’d like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank-you to them all for turning up and supporting me today. This is what this challenge is all about, support. Whether that be in the way of donations or running with me. They both share the same thing and that’s creating awareness for Percy Hedley.

Tomorrow is day 4 and I’m running to the Botanic Gardens in Durham to celebrate 4 Colly Birds. If everyone turns up we should have a similar number as we had today. Great stuff everyone!

Thanks again,

Paul
