A Partridge in a Pear Tree

Post Type

First run down, 11 to go! 4.2 miles down, 55.8 to go!

Massive thanks to John and Peter for joining me on the run. It was difficult in parts due to lighting but we breezed the 4.2 miles to Pear Tree Lodge in Witton Gilbert.

I also have to say massive thanks to my friend Stephen for the lift home and for taking the photo above. He even played ‘Driving Home for Christmas’ in the car! I’m day 1 into this challenge and already the support has been overwhelming. We met a ‘merry’ lad walking home from Durham on the way and he donated £5! I passed the £400.00 mark tonight and I’m so happy. I never thought I would get to this point.

I have a day off today with it being Christmas Day so see you all on Boxing Day morning when I tackle the run to Broom House Farm to celebrate 2 Turtle Doves.

Merry Christmas everyone!
