7 Swans-a-Swimming

Post Type

7 days down, 5 to go! 31.3 miles down, 28.7 to go!

7 Swans-a-Swimming today so we made our way to the Swan and Three Cygnets pub in Durham. For a nice cold pint obviously! Distance was only 2.5 miles but with the wind and my legs all stiff, it was tougher than I thought. Thanks to Ross, Paul, John and Peter for supporting again. These guys have all been fantastic. Unfortunately Chris couldn’t make it today but we’re both hoping he’ll be fit for the 11th day.

My fundraising took an even bigger turn for the best today when I discovered Lanchester Dairies had donated £50! Unbelievable! It was also a reminder that tomorrow’s run is 8 Maids-a-Milking with a 9.5 mile climb up to the Dairies. I’m excited and nervous to be honest. I have three definite runners tomorrow, so this is a huge help. Again, I can’t thank the support enough.

While I was out running today, Amy took a phone call from the Northern Echo. There’s a very good chance they’ll be there tomorrow as we arrive so fingers crossed!

Thanks again,

Paul
