No matter what your level of physical activity, it is extremely important to make sure that you stay hydrated. Drinking lots of pure, clean water will help you break down body fat and will also boost your immune system. When it comes to making sure that you get enough water on a daily basis, water coolers provide you with a convenient way to get the hydration you need. How Much Water?

In general, you should strive for a minimum of eight glasses of water a day and nine to twelve total glasses of fluid daily. Sodas and vitamin water often contain 20 grams or more of sugar per bottle which can damage your teeth and also make your body function less efficiently. Even juices have a lot of sugar in them, and many juice brands add artificial sweeteners in addition to the natural sugars. Diet sodas are no refuge, either, as they use artificial sweeteners which can be dangerous in large amounts.

Protection against Medical Conditions

As mentioned previously, taking advantage of the pure water in water coolers gives you a major advantage when it comes to staying healthy. If you are affected by certain medical conditions, you will want to make sure that you use those water coolers more often, increasing your intake by 50% or even 100% to keep yourself functioning well. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should drink more water for the health of their babies. Anybody with a kidney stone or bladder infection can use pure water to pass through those ailments with less pain. If you have a fever or other illness, you also need the extra water to keep your temperature down and help get the toxins out of your body.

When Else is Water Important?

You should keep these tips on hydration in mind even if you are not sick. If you are planning on spending a lot of time outside, if the weather is hot and sunny, or if you are about to get exercise, you should down at least two to three cups at one of the nearby water coolers before you begin your activity. Anything that makes you sweat or that exposes you to the sun has the potential to cause dehydration which means that you should drink more water. As a general baseline, aim for a minimum of six to eight glasses of water per day, which is about one per hour in most full time jobs. Then, as you start to feel thirsty, take another drink to relieve your thirst and make sure that you are completely hydrated.
