No Udder Way

Post Type

I mentioned on the 8th day we were greeted by family, friends and a press photographer. The shots taken were for the Durham Times and the Northern Echo. It’s fantastic to get exposure in my local newspaper and it’s already helped raise even more money for Percy Hedley today.

I said to Amy last night I hope they use one of the group photos that were taken yesterday. I owe loads to Val, Stephen, Paul and Ross. It would have been so much harder without their support. I picked up a Northern Echo this morning and they used a photo of me. The angle of the story is a Durham Dad runs 60 miles for charity. I understand why they did this. Plus I’m grateful to so many other people that didn’t run that day so it might have been a bit unfair on them.

Either way, I’m very grateful to the Northern Echo and the Durham Times for choosing to feature my story again. Thanks again to the guys for supporting me with the 8th day. I’m sorry you didn’t get featured but we all know you did the run and I really appreciate it.
