Target Your Aches And Pains With Loxley

Post Type

You’re going to be hearing a lot about Loxley Sports over the coming months. I’ve recently reviewed three products, the first being their Kinesiology Tape.

If you’re not familiar with Kinesiology Tape (or Sports Tape as it’s sometimes known as), it’s an elastic therapeutic tape that is stuck to your skin to treat sports injuries. It was created in the 1970′s and the tape acts like a 3rd layer of skin. Once the skin around the injury is lifted, it helps your muscles move more freely and therefore you heal faster. The tape also has a number of other benefits including:

  • Reduce Muscle Fatigue
  • Physiotherapy
  • Aids in Recovery
  • Prevents Cramps
  • Enhance Performance
  • Water Resistant Coating
  • Promote Blood Flow
  • 160-180% Elasticity
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Latex Free

Since Christmas I’ve been secretly carrying knee, foot and back injuries. It may have been down to my charity challenge but it’s more likely to just be my age! Having had a fairly injury free life, I’m happy to accept it.

Loxley Sports is a brand new and fresh company that helps you achieve your fitness targets. Whether that be through injury prevention, rehabilitation or providing general exercise equipment. They have three products available, Kinesiology Tape, Suspension Trainers and Olympic Barbell Collars. I’ve seen and tried the three products and they are all of the highest quality, trust me!

I used the KInesiology Tape on my lower back for over two weeks. I’m normally very sceptical of these type of things so I wasn’t expecting fast results. Having had an ongoing back injury for several months now, the tape has definitely help my back heal to an almost perfect state. It may be coincidence but I hand on heart believe that the Kinesiology Tape from Loxley helped with my back pain. Just for the record I didn’t use the Pink Sports Tape, only the Black Sports Tape and Blue Sports Tape! The roll size is 5m x 5m. I showered as normal and it lasted about three days before I needed to reapply it. The tape arrived in a Loxley branded box and with a very fast, 1st Class Royal Mail delivery.

Loxley have given me a 20% discount code of ‘FATHER20‘ for you guys to use. It doesn’t have an expiry date either so feel free to use it as and when you need to. Obviously I don’t wish for you guys to be injured! Please be sure to follow Loxley on Twitter, like them on Facebook and you can also find them on Instagram under ‘Loxley Sports.’

Thanks for reading and please look out for more reviews of Loxley Sports coming soon.
